Bishop Jerry L. Maynard & The Cathedral of Praise Choir Celebrate Two Dove Award Nominations

The vibrant Cathedral Of Praise Church Choir from Nashville, TN, under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Jerry L. Maynard, released their inaugural CD last fall which landed on Billboard's Top Gospel Chart at #10.  Bishop Jerry Maynard Presents The Cathedral Of Praise Choir, on Maynard's own Jelama Records, has now garnered two Dove Award Nominations - Traditional Gospel Album of the Year and Traditional Gospel Song of the Year ("Just Believe"). 
 
The high-spirited radio single "Just Believe" quickly became a favorite at gospel radio and a Top 30 Gospel radio chart hit.  Noted vocalist Michelle Prather (Kurt Carr Singers and Kevin Davidson & the Voices) is the powerful lead on the single.  Bishop Jerry Maynard Presents The Cathedral of Praise Choir was produced by  Phil Hughley and Elvin “Kiko” Negron and directed by talented songstress Kyla Jade.  

This project of powerful praise anthems, worship music and church choir selections also features a dynamic line up of guest appearances from Don Moen, Nia Allen, Candy West, Pam Crawford and Durward Davis.
