So You Want us to play your music?
We are always accepting music submissions and regularly encourage artists to submit their music for consideration on SP Radio. We are thrilled to serve as a conduit delivering great gospel music to listeners in search of an uplifting radio experience. With such an arduous undertaking comes great responsibility. We take pride in the music we play and the many warm relationships we have established through the years. We have been the first to play some artists and by our diligence have been included in the radio promotion plans for other, mainstream artists. This is all a tremendous privilege we don't take lightly.
Because of our commitment to play the rest of the BEST gospel music in the world, we listen to each submission for airplay worthiness. Not every submission will make it to the SP Radio playlist and we encourage artists to continue their quest for music industry success by offering constructive criticism and accurate critiques of the songs submitted. Many of the tips shared with artists are readily available and are part of industry conference topics throughout the year. Additionally, we can be seen at many industry events throughout the year and will be making a concerted effort to add more dates throughout the year.
We work hard for indie artists and want to help as best we can. In some cases, this included denying the addition to our rotation in favor of recommending a re-mixing, re-mastering or even a re-recording.

The issue we most often encounter and want to avoid is missing metadata. We deal with this issue from indie submissions as well as some of our mainstream submissions. We will work with artists as often as possible to properly tag songs before they are entered into the rotation, however be advised that improperly coded, non-coded submissions are seldom considered. We work hard with artists to try and prevent this issue and discourage artists from releasing music without making sure that their songs are properly coded. For artists and producers, this is how you get paid! Help us, help you and properly code your music so that it registers when it is played on our station! From the very first day we began this venture to spotlight indie artists from across the globe, we have done so with artists in mind.
We welcome gospel submissions of all styles and will do our best to make room in the rotation for everyone. However, we are steadfast regarding our broadcast standards:
- All music submitted must glorify God or be inspirational and uplifting
- All submissions must be properly coded with correct metadata
- If possible, please send radio edits, though full and extended versions are accepted in some cases
- Submissions are accepted at: [email protected]
