Rev. Antwon James,Kingdom Builders Association
Thursday, February 14, 2008 the Kingdom Builders Association of America, Inc. was born, Rev. Antwon D. James sent out the call to bring forth men and women to serve this great association. Many answered the call to bring their faith and cling to the vision and mission in which the association stood for; and many were instrumental in the formation of the association.
After formation it was noted that the association must have a governing document; policies and procedures in place to ensure harmony throughout. Monday, March 17, 2008 saw the first meeting of the Executive Staff, in which the first order of business was to draft a Constitution to secure the present and fortify the future. The constitution began as a 14 page document and has grown to over 55 pages of established protocol for our association; the Constitution was officially adopted March 17, 2008. It was established in this meeting that the governing authority of our association would consist of the following in: The Trinity [God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit], President/CEO, Executive Board, Executive Staff, and Regional/State Directors. After months of prayer, development and revisions, on September 29, 2008 the Rev. Antwon D. James was officially accepted to the office of President and Chief Executive Officer. |
Rev. James immediately reiterated that our mission and vision as a union was laid on three foundational pillars to “Equip, Encourage, & Edify Kingdom Leaders!”
During the process of delivery and birth many programs where incepted such as the annual session then titled as the Kingdom Builders Conclave. Several positions on the Executive Staff were created for the various areas of ministry. It was the initial plan of the Executive Staff to host the First Annual Kingdom Builders Conclave in New Orleans, Louisiana; but things changed and it was postponed for a year. By June 2008, our membership stood at 16 members from around the nation. In that same month, our very first website went live, and opened up the avenue for further growth. In July 2008, we unveiled our uniformed e-mail system for the streamlining communication needs. Time progressed and we as an association experienced maturity, growth, and stability. January 2009 brought many changes. The Executive Staff was reassigned as the Executive Board; Regional and State Directors were implemented to assist with the overall growth and future development of seminars and workshops to aide in the furtherance of our three foundation pillars to equip, encourage and edify |
