Dy'Verse Music Presents the 2nd Annual Memorial Day Unity Tour
Held at the St. John Unleashed Church in Southlake, Texas the Memorial Day Unity Tour was the perfect holiday concert for DFW gospel fans. On a rainy night that featured so many hot gospel and CCM artists and an audience filled with many more, the Unity Concert was a sign of things to come.
Andrea Helms recorded her first live dvd and artists like Joseph Anthony and Marquinn Middleton performed brand new music set to impact radio soon. The Dy'Verse Music Group deserves a rousing round of applause for this event that showcased the true gospel greatness that resides in DFW. Often times, it goes overlooked or unnoticed but this event helped perfect the craft of fellowship amongs area artists.
Once done with his opening set, Joseph Anthony remained a fixture on the front row worshipping with each artist as they ministered. The goal and aim of the evening was to benefit the Women Called Moses organization founded by Deborah Nixon-Bowles. Bowles helps battered women and their families recover from domestic abuse and even goes into the trenches in Dallas' southern sector rescuing women and young girls in the fight of their life against drug abuse, prostitution and even human trafficking.
As the concert drew to a close, Bowles made an impassioned plea for help from those in attendance. She shared her alarming statistics which are largely unknown throughout the general population in the city of Dallas. Do you know your neighbors? Do you know that homeless person you just shunned at the convenience store? You probably don't know Dallas area domestic violence victims, either, but Deborah Nixon-Bowles does. She knows them and prostitutes alike by name. With very little funding, she is able to turn around lives on the brink and make a difference in the city of Dallas. If you would like to make a contribution to further this cause, feel free to donate here.
