​ Louisiana based record company A&P Records are proud to announce the recent signing of an exclusive development and production deal with Emerald Bay Entertainment to produce a reality tv show for the 10 sibling family groupThe Showers., Andy Meyer, Matt Ables, and Regina Showers Gordon will serve as Executive Producers.

Emerald Bay Entertainment was founded by producer and executive Andy Meyer in 2002. Most recently, Meyer served as Executive Producer "For Petes Sake" (OWN). Meyer served as head of development at Jarrett Creative Group where he led series development and developed projects for Bravo, E!, MTV, History Channel, Esquire and others. A leading producer, development and network executive in reality, entertainment, sports and new media, Meyer began his career as a producer on some of the biggest and most influential hits in reality and documentary television including ESPN Sports Century, Blind Date (MTV), Paradise Hotel (FOX), Trading Spaces (TLC), Big Tips Texas (MTV) and Married by America (FOX) and was on the production team for the first season of American Idol (FOX). Meyer served as the head of original programming for Versus (now NBC Sports Network), as well as VP original programming and production for music network Fuse, where he oversaw the development production for all of Fuse’s original series and specials for both the linear cable channel and Fuse’s pioneering multi-platform distribution.

About Matt Ables: 
Big Matt started his career very early. After being told by his cousins he did not have the skills to rap he started to study the backgrounds of the entertainment industry. Growing up in the entertainment capital of the world Los Angeles, CA he was captivated by the huge studios, fancy cars and glistening fast life. Matt quickly became a respected club promoter in Southern California and landed a job with Relativity Records as their West Coast Rep. Matt would spread his wings in film and television as well as a Production Assistant on titles such as Curtis Court, Inside Edition, and Spider Man. After some minor brushes with the law Matt would return to the music industry as a Promotions Director for Adelman Broadcasting where he would manage five radio stations simultaneously each different formats.

While searching YouTube one day Matt came across widely known Radio One radio announcer and Television host Willie Moore Jr. After managing him from Los Angeles Matt and his family relocated to Atlanta. It is in Atlanta where Matt would help take Willie Moore Jr. to become a household name in less than 2 years securing him deals with Radio One (Reach Media), Black Entertainment Television (BET), and TBN to name a few. From there Matt would secure Tasha Page Lockhart and orchestrated having her on the Tyler Perry Tour ”Madea on the Run” city wide tour - while in his first month of managing her. Currently Matt is working on Tasha's sophomore album.

Armed with an unmistakable voice, spirited guitar, and lyrics drawn from the depths of his soul, Royce Lovett brings a much-needed breath of fresh air to music.

With love still at the heart of his work, Lovett tackles more personal themes on his forthcoming EP release. Drawing from Lovett’s hip-hop roots, “Reach” uses a hard-driving drum beat in relaying the message to always “put your hands in the sky today / though your dream seems miles away.” The slower-paced “Go” explores the pressure of holding fast to the faith you have in yourself despite what friends and others may say.

The rollicking “That’s Dat Jesus” (click here to listen: https://youtu.be/ep--jgViZUk) embodies the fervor of the hymns Lovett’s grandmother used to sing when he was younger, while the guitar-driving track “I Wanna Love You” (click here to listen: https://youtu.be/-0992GLinms) outlines the blueprint for winning at love and marriage. “Don’t tell me we lost, ‘cause I want to win,” sings Lovett to his significant other in a gliding tenor. “Love is hard but you’ve got to fight for what you want in the end.”

Providing the through-line for LOVE WINS is the upbeat declaration “Freedom.” Lovett wrote the song in response to the title track of his debut EP. “Thought I was free, thought I was free,” goes the refrain, “but I couldn’t hear the voice that’s locked inside of me. I want to be free from bondage my brother /my friend / so we can dance again.”
