Las Vegas, NV (BlackNews.com) -- The festivities surrounding "May Day" - the fight of the century, continue to grow as Floyd Mayweather Sr. will host a pre-fight party kickoff event from Las Vegas’s Fiesta Rancho Casino on Thursday, April 30th. Friends, fans, boxing enthusiast and well-wishers are invited to take pictures with the father, mentor, right hand corner man and legendary trainer of the five-division undefeated world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Floyd Sr. will be joined by others from Team Mayweather and celebrity friends with surprise guest performances Thursday night, April 30th in Las Vegas.

Motown daughter Sherry Gordy along with Rosemary McKnight of For The People Entertainment will co-host this epic event and invite guest to bring in May Day weekend by wearing Floyd Mayweather Sr's theme colors of black and gold and be part of history as his son nears closer to the all-time 49-0 record. Official fight apparel will be available for purchase as well as photographs with Floyd Sr. Mingle with Floyd Mayweather Sr., Team Mayweather and friends and view celebrity guest performances.

The Official Mayweather pre-fight party will take place at the Fiesta Rancho Casino inside the Tequila Room and is located at 2400 Rancho Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89130. Doors open at 7pm.

You read that right! Gospel music will officially check in at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue tomorrow evening for: "The Gospel Tradition: In Performance at the White House". In a day and age where gospel music sales and influence seem to be waning, the timeless message has an open invitation to the White House.It's an honor to see gospel music showcased in the highest house in the United States; a real testimony to its vibrant swatch in the fabric of American culture. This is the 14th gathering of its kind and in previous musical salutes, the White House has honored musicians, heritage and the lasting sounds they've created. This year, the White House has chosen a stellar group of gospel artists to represent the genre, iconic artists who regularly display classic Christian character along with their unique stage presence. T Bone Burnett will serve as the Executive Music Director and Mr. Bill Maxwell is the evening's music director. Here's the complete list of the evening's performers:

Conducting the workshop is Robert Santelli, Executive Director of The GRAMMY Museum® in Los Angeles, who will enlighten the middle, high school and college aged attendees on the origin, artistry and nuance that has made the genre successful and a breeding ground for some of the worlds greatest singers. The students hail from 24 schools across the country: Los Angeles and Oakland, CA; Kahuku and Waipahu, HI; Sandy Spring, MD; Cleveland, MS; Asbury Park and West Long Branch, NJ; Somers, NY; Memphis, TN; Falls Church, VA.

Across its two premiere night timeslots, Mann & Wife reached nearly 800K viewers 2+ and 540K HHs.

When included among all ad-supported cable television in the time period, Mann & Wife's 9:00 p.m. premiere telecast was the third most-watched program in total African-American viewers and fourth in African-American 18-49 viewership.

Bounce TV's most-watched original previously had been the premiere telecast of Off The Chain: Rodney Perry on1/13/15.

New scripted series "MANN & WIFE," from husband and wife team David 
Mann ("Madea's Big Happy Family") and Tamela Mann ("Sparkle") is set to premiere on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 9pm ET/8 CT on Bounce TV. Starring as newlyweds Daniel and Toni Mann, the half-hour multi-camera sitcom revolves around the newly married couple and their blended family, each with two children from previous marriages.

Daniel, a police officer from Atlanta, and Toni, a school teacher from Dallas, along with their kids DJ, Tosha, Darren and Terri all move into Daniel's house in the Atlanta suburbs and have to adjust to their new lives together. In addition to David and Tamela, Mann & Wife stars Tony Rock, Tiny Lister and JoMarie Payton, and features guest stars Vivica A. Fox, J. Anthony Brown,  Demetria McKinney, Julissa Bermudez and Rolonda Watts.
