It'a 2015 and time for us to rise up and become the people God intends for us to be! Alot of that potential has been wasted by allowing our fears to dictate our forward progress. If we look around, many of us are right where we were at the beginning of 2014. I want to let you know that it is time to move forward in God.
Do you believe that God has released you to a special work? I believe for me and certainly believe for you! Gifts and callings lie dormant but not dead. It's time to burst forth like a violent volcano and impact the world with your purpose and destiny. As I'm writing this I have been PAUSED by an awesome revelation in the area of our slothfulness. God's plan for our lives is active and alive in us. It is the underlying force that is about to push to the surface. Even now as you and I embark on a new journey taking steps of faith, the earth is preparing to release as never before. In Japan, we had the opportunity to behold the immense beauty of Mt. Fuji. It was amazingly breathtaking from where we were.
We were still an hour away from the base, yet we got up close views of one of the world's natural wonders. Mt. Fuji is more than a mountain, it's a volcano. An active one,though dormant for more than 100 years. The volcano is considered dormant and throngs of people climb the mountain each summer(climbing season). Speaking with a new friend in Japan last December, she told me that it took their climbing team six hours to reach the volcano's zenith. The elevation atop Japan's highest peak is in the clouds. Only in the summer is it "safe" to climb. Any other time of year, it is too cold for climbers to survive the hike.
I couldn't help but share a little journalism to this address,forgive me! Point is, DORMANT IS BETTER THAN DEAD! With all the climbing people do, they are still thrill seekers. They run the risk of climbing a volatile volcano that could still erupt and cause miles wide damage.
The same goes for us! It doesn't matter that we have become a fixture...a mere photo op in the world of destiny. The "threat" still exists as long as you have breath in your body! Guess what? Millions don't know that Mount Fuji is a volcano...can you imagine the world's shock when you discover you? No longer a tourist attraction! No longer a has been or could have been...it's time! Can you feel the earth shaking???
In Matthew 11:12 Jesus said: "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force." This violent force has come alive in our lives as never before. This year is brimming with possibility and purpose. Believe me, if you have ever set your heart and mind to do something DO IT NOW! Begin planning, actively prepare for it,make moves as if nothing can or will stop you. Enlist the help of the Lord daily to guide you as you pursue your goals! Be not dismayed that there has been a delay...get up and work!
I see obstacles being taken down by purpose and destiny this year. Not merely because of its existence,but by its execution. There is work in your hands and a path under your feet. Will you do it this year? Do you believe that you are supposed to do it this year?
