Chester D.T. Baldwin
Musician, songwriter, composer, director, performer, psalmist, arranger, producer, clinician extraordinaire: Chester D. T. Baldwin is all of those and more. Growing up in Liberty, Texas, Chester began playing the piano at age five, became church organist at age 12 and became minister of music at age 15. Clearly he was on the fast track. And, he's never looked back!
Chester is the winner of numerous music awards, to include being named Male Vocalist of the Year five times by the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards. He is founder and CEO of the non-profit organization Music That Ministers, Ministry That Matters. He has recorded two highly acclaimed gospel music CD's: Sing It On Sunday Morning I and Sing It On Sunday Morning II: Just Having Church.
Chester is in great demand as both a performer and a clinician. His seamless mix of traditional and contemporary gospel music lights up the house and takes the spirit to new heights. He is a true inspiration, a mentor to numerous aspiring artists, and a walking testimonial to God's healing power.
