Being BIG and doing BIG things in the Kingdom is without a doubt going to require some help. In the teaching text, Simon had help from the brothers we later come to know as the "Sons of Thunder" (Mark 3:17). In this life, the vision God gives us, isn't to be attempted without help! It's too big and it's dangerous to even attempt it without help. Partners help us achieve the God-given goal faster. In Exodus 18:22b, Jethro sums Kingdom partnerships like this: "...that will make your load lighter because they will share it with you."
Once you make the decision to be BIG for Christ, make sure you remain open to receive the helpers the Lord sends! In the following show segments, I discuss the very practical principle of partnerships. In the last segment, I share a very transparent story of my time as a bad partner. As hard to believe as that may be, I've had to grow to accept my place and connection to others doing BIG things!
