Growing up as child musicians, it wasn't hard to tell who would grow up to be great. As church musicians, there were certain musicians that put on a clinic each service. For many Fort Worth musicians, that drummer was Aaron "Woody" Henry. Whether he was playing with his father and sisters who sang in the family group, or any other artist in the area in search of a solid timekeeper, Woody was on time, in the pocket and jammin' on the one! He was the quintessential prodigy and marked every drumset he was allowed on. No drumset was a match for Henry's skill, not even run down piece meal drumsets at most local churches. Intrinsically,Henry possesses the uncanny ability to make any drumset his own, playing to the beat in his heart on the drums he makes his! From early on, he made a name for his young self and developed a following among his peers. Though average in stature, he stands head and shoulders above most drummers in the metroplex. As an adult, his signature sound has propelled him to the forefront and onto the biggest of stages. Currently working with and jet-setting across the country with chart topping talent like Tamela Mann, "Woody" has finally come into his own. Along with his grown up, signature sound, he is one of the newest endorsees of the Supernatural brand of Turkish cymbals. SoulProsper Media Group is thrilled to share in the excitement and help break the news of this outstanding achievement. The Supernatural brand of cymbals is growing with exposure. Top drummers like Mindy Duponte, Lem McEwen, Brandon Harris, Lil' Dave Chiverton and Sheldon Miller play Supernatural cymbals exclusively. Deep on the roster, Woody's cousin Demetrius Williams is also listed as an endorsed drummer. Successful in his own right, Williams credits Woody as his initial inspiration to play the drums. It's no surprise that Woody continues to inspire drummers all over the country. You from here?!? Completing Anita Wilson's band trio were two local musicians: Aaron Henry on drums and Nick Clark on bass (currently residing in Austin.) Paired with musician extraordinaire Rick Robinson, these two held down her signature sound! Read more here...
